Connect2Media rebrands Israeli distribution arm as Connect2Media Middle East

RayFusion renamed, will expand into Turkey and Greece

Connect2Media rebrands Israeli distribution arm as Connect2Media Middle East
Following its acquisition of US company Sennari in early 2010, UK mobile publisher Connect2Media continues to tidy up its global organisation.

Israeli outfit, RayFusion, which was bought in 2008, will now be called Connect2Media Middle East.

It specialises in the distribution and aggregation of mobile games and has deals with publishers such as EA Mobile, Digital Chocolate and i-Play.

Stand and expand

As part of the deal, Orly Zelazny has been appointed as managing director. Orly's last position was as the commercial director of broadband company Alvarion.

"RayFusion has long been the dominant player for mobile games in Israel, and now our task is to strengthen our hold on the Israeli market, and build our position in Turkey and Greece," said Zelazny.

"As we move forward our new branding will help us in one of our major roles within the group, which is to source exciting new content, games and applications, from developers, around the world."

Connect2Media’s CEO Eric Hobson commented, "This is an exciting time for our business and with the rebranding and new management at our Middle East operation, plus our new base in the US, Connect2Media is expanding rapidly.

"Our operations in the Middle East have specialist skills, and technology, to provide distribution services for major global publishers, and take an agnostic independent view of content."
