Organisers behind the fourth Game Dev North in Chester have announced two new sponsors for the meet up, which looks to connect developers in the North West of England.

Both Derby-based mobile and PC developer Greenfly Studios and game law specialist Sheridans Solicitors have been named as official backers for the event, which will take place on 26 May.

"Game Dev North started because several north west developers were interested in meeting more like minded from the local area and decided to set up a event to bring everyone together, from small beginnings of about 10 people a meeting," said organiser Samuel Mottershaw of Toxic Games.

"The third event took off and over 70 people came along and had a great night."

Those looking to attend are advised to mark their name down on the Eventbrite page, with the meet up itself kicking off in Chester's The Cellar from 4pm.
