Nexus Prime and Android 4.0's CTIA launch postponed

New date and venue will be shortly announced

Nexus Prime and Android 4.0's CTIA launch postponed
Following a leaked video online (viewable below) showing the upcoming Nexus Prime handset from Samsung, running Google's latest Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update, their proposed CTIA launch has been pulled.

The Samsung Nexus Prime was due to be officially unveiled at the Unpacked event in San Diego on Tuesday October 11.

Specifications for Samsung's latest device were leaked online previous to the pulling of the event, which has yet to be rescheduled.

"Samsung and Google decide to postpone the new product announcement at CTIA Fall," read a joint statement.

"We agree that it is just not the right time to announce a new product. New date and venue will be shortly announced."

One possible reason for the postponement is the recent passing away of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs.
