HandyGames is hiring through PocketGamer.biz jobs board
German multi-platform mobile developer and publisher HandyGames is looking to expand its workforce through the PocketGamer.biz jobs board.

"We are hiring in all areas," explained CEO Christopher Kassulke. "HandyGames is a team of close to 50 very talented employees and we want to grow our scrum development teams even further.

"Our aim is to expand to 65 by the end of the year."

As such, HandyGames is looking for games testers, sound designers, programmers, 2D game artists, and game designers to join its headquarters in Giebelstadt, Germany.

That's handy

"The games industry is changing, and mobile games is certainly of the best places to be in right now," continues Kassulke.

But the studio doesn't only develop for mobile – it has a broader strategy.

"Multiplatform is the key – we call it 'beyond mobile'. Android, iOS, and JavaME are our home markets, but together with our international partners, our games can be played on PCs, Macs, TVs, inflight entertainment systems, and soon on other systems too."

"Not many companies have such a diversity of platforms," says Kassulke. "Think big!"

We need you

Prospective game designers will require a relevant degree or two years of professional game design experience, while programmers must be able to boast three years of experience with C++, Java, Objective C, or C#.

Equally, game artists will find that industry experience aids their applications, and sound designers must know Logic Pro audio software inside-out.

More details on each of the positions can be found on the PocketGamer.biz jobs board, along with other open positions at companies such as Rovio, Gameloft, and Tag Games.

What's more, it's now free for mobile games companies to post vacancies on our jobs board. Simply click on through to www.pocketgamer.biz/jobs to start recruiting.
