Days of Wonder's Ticket to Ride steals show at Pocket Gamer Readers' Choice Awards
Cut the Rope, Angry Birds, and Minecraft win big
Following the full Pocket Gamer Awards 2012 back in March, the winners of this year's Reader's Choice categories have also been revealed, with Days of Wonder's Ticket to Ride series taking home two honours.
Readers of the site named the original Ticket to Ride as their favourite iPad game, while Ticket to Ride Pocket took home the prize in the iPhone/iPod touch category.
The winner takes it all
Outside of iOS, ZeptoLab's Cut the Rope was the victor in the Android category, while Rovio's Angry Birds took the top prize on Windows Phone and Mojang's Minecraft - Pocket Edition won out on Xperia Play.
Exozer Games's Carcassonne was named the best mobile game – just as was the case in the standard awards – with readers interestinglu picking former smartphone smash Plants vs. Zombies as their favourite game on handheld devices.
The full rundown of winners can be found over on Pocket Gamer.
