Zynga highlights strong mobile revenue growth as overall monthly uniques rises 25% to 182 million
Following its strong financial Q1 FY12 results, Zynga has also broken out its overall users numbers.

Daily active users increased 6 percent to 65 million compared to the comparable January to March period 12 months ago.

Monthly active users were up 24 percent to 292 million, and the company increased its unique monthly user total 25 percent to 182 million.

It didn't break out mobile usage, but pointed out its strongest revenue growth came from mobile

Every cent counts

Importantly for shareholders, the average daily bookings (or purchases) per average daily active user increased from 5.1c in the first quarter of 2011 to 5.5c, up 8 percent year-over-year.

A final acronym - monthly unique payers were up 21 percent from the previous quarter to 3.5 million.

"We're pleased with the progress that Zynga has made in the first quarter growing our audience reach 25 percent year-over-year and nearly 20 percent quarter-over-quarter," said Mark Pincus, Zynga's CEO.

"Our team did a great job launching five new games across mobile and web, including new hits like Hidden Chronicles, Slingo and Scramble with Friends."
