Letter Attack and Cut the Rope: Time Travel are heading the Quality Index's Top 10 rated iOS and Android games of April 2013
If you were wondering what the best-reviewed iOS and 'droid games on the web last month were, here are the iPhone Quality Index, iPad Quality Index, and Android Quality Index round-ups for April to fill you in.
The iPhone, iPad, and Android Quality Indexes boast over 650,000 reviews (in total) from websites like 148Apps, Pocket Gamer, and Gamezebo, and use a unique metric to create a single definitive score for each iOS and Android title.
Spelling it out for you
Letter Attack is the highest-scoring game in April's iPhone Qi (and iPad Qi) game chart.
The word game business is on a bit of a high at the moment, and heftyApps's attempt is a worthwhile addition to the genre.
In fifth spot, the maker of Badland takes one-button gameplay to all new levels of artistry.
Featuring an enchanting silhouette art style and an enchanting world, Frogmind's game is a tactile delight.

Topping April's Android Qi game chart is the much-anticipated sequel to an Android great.
In ZeptoLab's Cut the Rope: Time Travel, we witness the return of the candy-chomping Om Nom.
This time around, though, he's accompanied by a variety of time-displaced partners, which mixes up the physics-puzzling rather nicely.
It's all action at #2, mind, with Glu's Frontline Commando: D-Day taking place in the thick of World War II.
Impressive 3D visuals and heart-stopping duck-and-cover gameplay give this one the edge over its rivals.
There are more World War II 'kicks' to be had down in seventh spot via Strategy & Tactics: WW II.
As the name suggests, though, this is a rather more cerebral effort than Glu's, with the emphasis here firmly on historically accurate turn-based battles.

N.B. While we only display the average score to one decimal place, the lists are generated to further significant figures. We just don't show them all. And, naturally, these are static graphs based on live listings which are subject to constant change as new releases and reviews emerge.
In order to provide a regular marker of the critical zeitgeist, however, we will continue to round up the best of the iOS and Android games released each month to provide the definitive Quality Index top tens.
