Apple to give sneak peek at iPhone 3.0 software

US journalists have received an invitation to a media launch next Tuesday (March 17th) at which the iPhone 3.0 software will be shown off for the first time.



According to Ars Technica, the event will take place at Apple's Town Hall building in Cupertino at 10am Pacific Time.

No other details have been forthcoming, but it'll be fascinating to see what the company has planned for its handset, and what the implications are for gaming.
