![]() Ariel - yes, you're correct in that you want people to be reading about your game when it's released, but that should be down to the news release about it going live (i.e. Game X is now available) and/or the review.
I think you need to get journalists excited before that point, however, which is why I suggest a 6-8 week campaign. You may not get news 6 weeks before release but if you're talking to journalists, you're more likely to get coverage at launch. Joined:

![]() Really appreciate for sharing this article, I was just looking for the related information of doing PR for our games. Btw, just got one query about the news press releasing time, some people suggest that better release it (1 week around) before your game actually is available to download, cos some people might search it and download it from the App Store, once they find it's not live yet, they might forget about your game after 1 week or 2 weeks.
