I find some of the comments above very strange.

Being a dedicated (I hesitate to use the term hardcore) gamer, this device excites me very much.

A good, strong CPU, with decent joypad support and the ability to play my existing PC library away from the PC is too good to pass up.

It's also the fact that smartphone in my hands feels very small. Touch screen controls or virtual controls are no good for my tastes (or indeed, size of thumbs). A full size console-style controller is perfect.

Plus, I can enjoy my hobby without being tied to the PC in the games room. I can play sitting next to my wife on the sofa.

The problem is going to be price. I would be willing to pay about £250 for such a device, but other (non dedicated) gaming users will not, as they see it as a handheld.

Those that have the PC hardware to fully appreciate it, will love it I have no doubt.
