I agree with Sule9nA, its common in F2P model. Extra content is made for various people. Somebody loves apples, somebody pears. IMHO is fair to players, they have choice to buy what they want and how much money they want spend on game..

Oh nice, 472hrs of Gameplay and no pricetag :3. I was pretty satisfied with Need for Sped: Most Wanted and Dead Space is good so far. Haven't tried EA's F2P but I can bet it will be much better than whatever Gameloft is doing, they really like to milk cash out of everyone and everything O.O.

All fremium games operate this way. The idea really is that people will play them for 3-4 months before moving onto something new. It's how that business model works, you can play for that long and just make a couple of purchases and crack most of the game open. Or you can pay a lot and unlock it all immediately. It's a totally fair system as everyone gets the game free and purchasing is a choice. Real Racing 3 looks really sweet anyway! Can't wait to see how it feels.

I would buy this game for $10 on my droid. Real Racing 2 is really good. But as it seems lately, paid games also include their IAP too, it's just not much aggressive as freemium games. For example, it's really really hard to play NFS Most Wanted with just in game money.

I'm looking forward to Real Racing 3. I will see what I can do there. Really nice review here though.
