Machine Zone, Supercell, and King spent $200 million on US TV ads in 2015

Mobile developers Machine Zone, Supercell, and King spent a combined amount of around $200 million on TV ads in the US during 2015.

That's according to data from research firm iSpot.tv, which claims that Machine Zone spent $92.7 million across 18 ads, promote both Game of War and new game, Mobile Strike.

Television rules the nation

Supercell meanwhile spent a reported $59.8 million across 29 ads, but were the only developer to hit an estimated media value of $3 million in a single day, thanks to ads run during the Super Bowl and NBA Finals.

Finally, King spent a reported $41.1 million across 21 ads, down 9 change compared to 2014, which saw $45 million spent on 15 ads.

The most widely seen ad campaign of 2015 was Machine Zone's Game of War campaign that featured Kate Upton, which saw an estimated $61 million dollars spent on 5 ads shown nationally throughout the US.
