Logres of Swords and Sorcery racks up 6 million downloads in Japan

Released in December 2013, it's been announced that top grossing Japanese RPG Logres of Swords and Sorcery has been downloaded more than six million times.

Based on a browser game, with the native version co-developed by Aiming and Marvelous, the game has been steadily rising up the top grossing charts, both on Google Play and iPhone.

On both platforms, it's now a solid performer in the top 10 charts; currently #6 on the iPhone top grossing charts and #4 on Google Play.

Rising high

In a mark of how lucrative individual Japanese players can be, the game's highest download chart positions are much lower, however.

It peaked at #2 on the iPhone chart back in January 2014, but is currently outside the top 250, while its peak Google Play download position was #18, and is currently 242.

In that respect, Logres of Swords and Sorcery's download total is much less important than the revenue it's generating per download.
