The leading international games industry conference, Pocket Gamer Connects, returns to Jordan!

Over 700 delegates will gather near the glorious Dead Sea, about 30 minutes from capital Amman, for two days of networking and knowledge-sharing.

Attendees from all around the world will hear from 100 of the industry's leading authorities, sharing insight and case studies into the games industry. They will benefit from the MeetToMatch meeting platform, for finding essential business connections. There will be an expo area with new games and services on show. And everyone will enjoy networking opportunities like the Very Big Indie Pitch competition and Investor Connector sessions.

This all takes place at a new venue for PG Connects, the King Hussein Bin Talal Hilton, on the shores of one of the most historic locations in the world.

As ever, the conference schedule will be packed with our trademark short, sharp seminars and panels. This is the place to find out the key business trends, learn new skills, and immerse yourself in what games industry experts are working on.

Across two stages and 10 packed conference tracks, our international panellists and lecturers will share their insight on everything from studio basics to investment ideas, influencer promotion, disruptive technologies, user acquisition and beyond.

Supporting indie developers

Small, independent developers are the lifeblood of the mobile games industry and PG Connects champions their work. Are you part of a student team or a new studio just starting out? Are you part of the Jordan Gaming Lab? You are welcome here. The show floor has a dedicated expo area for known names and newcomers alike to display their talent to an industry audience. This is a vibrant and varied expo area for publishers looking to sign promising titles.

And, of course, our hugely popular Very Big Indie Pitch will be back with indie devs competing to impress a panel of expert judges. The winners walk away with prizes and online marketing opportunities, as well as useful feedback. This will be the fourth time we've run a Big Indie Pitch in the MENA region; the last time we ran a live event like this in Jordan was in 2019 before the pandemic, and you can read about those winners here.

Developers: meet publishers and investors

As always, there will be fringe activities in side rooms to help with the networking. We know it can be daunting to work out who to connect with. So we have a few privately curated activities where we will hand-pick people for you to meet. Spaces are limited so you must apply in advance (links at www.pgconnects.com).

Our Publisher SpeedMatch and Investor Connector sessions pair developers in rapid succession with publishers and investors in a series of speed meetings. These short, sharp encounters enable first contact for you to follow up with a longer meeting if you find a potential partner. It’s a shop window for devs to display their wares and a pipeline of prospects for anyone looking to sign up-and-coming talent.

The perfect location

For the first time, PG Connects will take place by the Dead Sea. Located at the lowest point on earth, the King Hussein Bin Tala Convention Centre managed by Hilton is an incredible destination. The conference takes place over two days at this purpose-built hotel and conference location. We recommend that you book your trip with some days on either side to take advantage of this incredible country.

Getting to the venue from the capital city Amman is easy. The journey is less than 45 minutes by car from the city and less than 60 minutes from Queen Alia International Airport.

Buses will be provided for our attendees from Amman. If you live or work in the city itself, you will be able to take a free bus from King Hussein Business Park in west Amman directly to the conference at the Dead Sea. These will leave in the morning and return at the end of the day.

If you are making your own way, you will find taxis and buses readily available to take you from the city or the airport directly to the resort.

More than 30,000 industry professionals have attended the Connects international conference series since 2014. Since then, the roadshow has landed in the UK, the USA, Canada, Finland, and India with a genuinely international client base; on average, delegates from more than 45 countries attend each event.

In 2016, we became the biggest dedicated mobile games industry conference series in Europe and have stayed on top ever since. Every event has been bigger and better than the last.
