NASSCOM Game Developers Conference (NGDC) is India’s primary platform for showcasing, inspiring, learning and dialogue for creators and enthusiasts of computer, mobile, console, web and social games.

Recognizing the burgeoning games market in India, the NGDC, currently in its 7th year, promises to be a developer’s paradise - giving them an opportunity to rub elbows with industry veterans and indie developers alike.

Dedicated to the advancement of interactive entertainment through talks, panels, super-pitches, tutorials and more, the NGDC is aimed at bringing to the forefront the exciting gaming eco-system that exists in India. Since its inception the conference has grown rapidly.

The first 2009 conference was a 1 day event attended by 150 people, In 2010, the 2 day conference had 20 + sessions attended by more than 300 delegates. In 2011, the conference grew further, with 700 people attending, 2012 the conference touched 1000 delegates and last year the conference touched 1300 delegates.

The NASSCOM team will be announcing a speaker line-up of international and domestic speakers later this summer, that will focus on two days of dedicated tracks focused on on Indies, Game Design, Publishing/Advertising, Game Art and Technology.

Previous speakers have included Ed Fries (former head of MGS), Mark Skaggs ( creator of Farmville), Yasuhiro Fukushima (Chairman of Square Enix), Ernest Adams (author of the seminal book on Game Design), Glen Schofield (Call of Duty), Trip Hawkins, Mathew Hall, Morgan Jaffit, Rich Vreeland and Ian Livingstone.

The NGDC 2015 Expo will give Indian developers and publishers, the opportunity to showcase their games throughout the conference on the expo floor and is increasing its size to promote 50+ Indian games. The NGF 2015 Awards will also recognise achievements in Indian games development and encourage the creation of building original IP in India.
