First Chinese mobile internet global traffic exchange expo welcomes over 1,500 attendees

This insight into the first Chinese Mobile Internet Global Traffic Exchange Expo (or GTE 2018, for short) was supplied by our partners Beluga Global.

On Thursday, June 7th, the much-anticipated GTE 2018, hosted by Beluga Global, successfully took place in Beijing. It was the birth of the first such event, serving to help Chinese internet companies go global!

More than 1,500 participants from various countries and regions and over 40 top-level global traffic service platforms were gathered at GTE 2018 to conduct global traffic exchanges. Leaders from consumer products companies and directors of marketing departments brought $10 million in budgets, seeking high-quality advertising and cooperation opportunities.

A gathering of over 40 top traffic platforms

GTE 2018 boomed. There were over 40 top-level traffic platforms with booths set up on site, ready to conduct traffic exchange services. Attendees included NOX, Yeahmobi, Mobvista, Papaya Mobile, SunTeng Technology, DO GLOBAL (Xiao Xiong Bo Wang), Alibaba UC Ads, Cheetah Mobile, Newborn Town, TouchPal, Camera360 and many other high-quality channel distributors from China and abroad.

Additionally, top traffic platforms like Facebook arranged for China's SMB Partner Manager Yu Silang to address the event.

Industry leaders share their global traffic marketing experience

Many influential speakers shared their industry insight. The event hosted VP and Product General Manager of NOX, Cao Hongjun; Global Business VP of Yeahmobi, Wu Ying; Business Cooperation Director of UC Ads, Nick Gao, at Alibaba Digital and Entertainment Group; Commercialization Director of Newborn Town, Huang Dongjing; Senior Technical Director of TouchPal, Wu Hao; VP of Mobvista Group, Hans Chen; Sales VP of Papaya Mobile, Xu Kuiliang; International Business Consultant of SunTeng Technology BiddingX, Angie Chung; and many other eminent guests.

Beluga Global helps Chinese companies go global

A significant trend for Chinese internet companies, the challenges of globalisation have created a vast ecosystem in which every web company tackles user growth and scale expansion.

Before GTE 2018, there was no exhibition in China that responded to the core issue of traffic demand for companies going global. Over, 7,000 companies are registered on Beluga Global's platform, and there are 15,000 registered products. The platform's cumulative number of global developers has exceeded 100,000. As such, Beluga Global is the largest pan-internet platform in China and dedicates itself to expanding business overseas. It's this that accounts for GTE 2018's popularity.

The demand for global traffic is clear and specific, and the cooperation with traffic platforms at GTE 2018 was seamless. Most of the exhibitors and trade visitors who attended gave high praise to the conference. While emphasising brands, the event also valued brand conversion and cooperation, and actively created conditions for strengthening exchange and interaction among all participants. It provided opportunities and resources for effective international communication. This was a practical expo which has helped pave the way for Chinese internet companies to go global!
