Outsourcing firm Virtuos has hired former Crytek Executive Producer and Game Director Elijah Freeman as its new Group Development Director.
Freeman will provide creative direction for the company's game division, and will be work out of its headquarters in Shanghai.
Freeman's credits at Crytek include VR games The Climb and Robinson: The Journey. He has also held senior roles at EA and CCP in his 15 years in the games industry.

Virtuos recently made inroads into the mobile games industry by opening a new studio in Paris focused solely on mobile game design. It is headed up by ex-Kobojo exec Jean-Baptiste Fleury.
