Go big, go China: ChinaJoy 2013 prepares to welcome 200,000 attendees
Putting the scale of the western gaming world to shame, ChinaJoy's organisers are sorting the final touches for their very big conference.

Running from 25-28 July in Shanghai, and operating under the banner 'Games Composing Your Dream, Mobility Inspiring the Future', they're expecting over 200,000 attendees

More than 400 companies from at least 30 countries, with more than 600 products on show will be present in the exhibition area.

Key Chinese outfits include Netease, Tencent, Perfect World and Changyou.com, while EA, Blizzard, Intel, Nvidia, Crytek and Ubisoft will be amongst the international contingent.

Go mobile

More than just an exhibition, ChinaJoy is also an umbrella for various conferences including the Chinese Game Developers Conference (CGDC), which has scheduled more mobile gaming topics for 2013.

Unity CEO David Helgason and Imangi's Keith Shepherd will be giving keynotes, and there will be a special Sino-Korea Developers Day, with Korean outfits WeMade and CJ E&M talking about their activities.

Another conference that's part of ChinaJoy is the World Mobile Games Conference (WMGC).

China's three largest telecom operators - China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom - will be attending, as will the likes of Tencent, 360, 91.com, UCweb, CocoaChina and iDreamSky.
