Get to grips with China at Global Mobile Game Summit 2014

Everyone wants to know what's going on in the Chinese mobile games market.

One big opportunity in 2014 will be the Global Mobile Game Summit, which is part of the Global Mobile Internet Conference in Beijing, which runs from 5-6 May.

Overall, the nine-track event - of which Global Mobile Game Summit is one - brings together around 10,000 attendees - innovators, investors, entrepreneurs and developers - from more than 50 countries.

Headline speakers include Tencent CEO Pony Ma, Sina CEO Charles Chao, Chukong CEO Chen Haozhi, UCWeb CEO Yu Yongfu and Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun.

World of possibilities

This year theme is Mobilizing the Next 5 Billion, with the conference exploring opportunities and challenges as mobile becomes the first access point for the next wave of technology consumers in Asia and beyond.

"Asia is home to 60% of the world's population, though only 27% of its internet users. That means incredible opportunity for those in the mobile internet space," pointed out Wenchu, the CEO of GMIC's organizer, GWC.

Held at the China National Convention Center, in Beijing's Olympic Park, you can find out more details via the website.
