i-Free China wins two at JinPeng Android games awards

Chinese mobile publisher i-Free China has come up trumps at the country's JinPeng Android mobile games awards.

Organised by China Telecom, the People's Daily online games channel, and the country's Mobile Game Development Alliance, it walked away with two awards out of the 13 available.

I-Free scooped the awards for the Best Partner for China Telecom and the International Benchmark award.

Based in Beijing, i-Free China is part of the larger Russian mobile ecosystem company, i-Free.

Building confidence

Now in their second year, more than 300 games entered the JinPeng awards, with the judging process taking 30 industry experts and 80 million players three months to complete.

"The significance of the JinPeng awards is to provide the industry with examples of high quality product, as well as build confidence in the market," said i-Free China CEO Ms Wang Jinxing.

Among other many games, i-Free China has published popular western games such as the Cut the Rope series, Pudding Monster, and Drag Racing in China.
