Brands are now easier to grow thanks to digital distribution, but as the App Store adds 900 new games every 72 hours, developers need to make their brand stand out amongst the competition.
"We don't view ourselves as a games company", he said, explaining that the Angry Birds brand has grown by expanding into the consumer market through toys and animations.
