Can you use post-call ads to boost revenue and retention?

At Pocket Gamer Connects Bangalore 2015, CIAMedia's COO and co-founder, Mathias Schroeder, took to the stage to talk about post-call ads.

"People actually still make calls from their phone," said Schroeder, pointing to recent data that suggests smartphone users spend on average eighteen minutes a day making calls.

Make the call

Post-call ads work by offering users free caller ID services, in exchange for showing them an advertisement after the call has been made.

App developers earn money from these ads being shown, as well as having a chance to bring back "zombie users" by deep-linking to their own app on the ad screen.
