Ubisoft's Jean-Philippe Pieuchot on the company's global mobile presence

Jean-Philippe Pieuchot, managing director at Ubisoft Pune, took to the stage at Pocket Gamer Connects Bangalore to give a talk on Ubisoft's presence in the global mobile market.

He talked about the difficulties of maintaining multiple well-known IPs across the world, and the challenges faced with targeting a mass market of users.

So many games, so little time

He spoke about how Ubisoft utilises their many IPs to target all aspects of the market, such as Just Dance to focus on international audiences and Rayman Jungle Run for mainstream audiences.

"Of course, we are Ubisoft, and we target the best quality for our games," said Pieuchot, pointing specifically at Assassin's Creed: Pirates as a game designed for their "high-end" users.
