At Pocket Gamer Connects Bangalore 2015, Armin Hummel, VP of Business Development at Lima Sky, gave a talk on the success of Doodle Jump.

One of the first "big" mobile games, Hummel joked that Doodle Jump was "Angry Birds before Angry Birds."

Open to suggestion

He said this was in part due to the company's approach of being "open and friendly", and working with others to increase their brand reach.

This included working with developers to port the game to as many devices as possible, as well as working with other brands and carriers to get free advertising.
