Indian game publishing start-up Flixy Games has raised $425,000 in seed funding to help launch its future publishing business.
The funding comes from Japan-based VC Rebright Partners. Flixy has also published its first title, Avatars Clash: Comet on Mahaar, developed by Japanese studio Axelmark.
Flixy will not only publish the game but will also handle live ops, customer service and monetisation suited for the India market.
A very unique aesthetic
"High-quality games that also compliment the theme are growing lesser in number day by day," said Felix Manojh, founder of Flixy Games.
"The bar is set very high on international games, but the same cannot be said for India. We wish to change that and focus on creating games that cater to a very unique aesthetic."
