Singapore-based ad platform TotallyAwesome has raised $2 million from serial investor Nigel Wray to help it expand its business into Southeast Asia and Australia.

TotallyAwesome is the product of a 2015 partnership between London-based, kid-friendly ad platform SuperAwesome and Southeast Asia's Inspire Ventures.

Kid-safe

Operating a platform that allows brands to target a young audience, giving publishers of children's apps and mobile games a revenue stream that is 100% legally compliant with the strict data privacy laws governing content for children, the firm claims a reach of "over 100 million" kids.

This investment will help TotallyAwesome roll out its social platform PopJam - on which there are also games - in Southeast Asia and Australia.

At present, PopJam's primary audience is under-13s in the US and UK.
