Nexon has soft-launched its upcoming mobile adaptation of the popular action series Dynasty Warriors called Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed.

The game has been launched on Android and iOS in Australia, Canada, Indonesia, and the Philippines. It was first released on February 23rd 2017 and has received one update so far.

Beat 'em up

The game is a 3D action title in the "musou" genre, which typically involves melee combat with tens of enemies at once. Skills, power-ups and special moves can also be employed to battle enemies.

It will utilise characters and scenarios from the console game Dynasty Warriors 8, the latest to be released in the series. It will also include multiple game modes, as well as co-operative and competitive battle modes.

Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed is one of several titles Nexon is pinning its hopes on in 2017. A new LEGO game and a mobile edition of Final Fantasy XI are also expected to perform well for the company.
