Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed surpasses six million downloads

Nexon and Koei Tecmo's Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed has now surpassed six million downloads in just seven weeks after its release.

The developer claims the game sees an average daily play time of 72 minutes from its users.

The news comes alongside a major content update to the title, which could drive even better engagement from players. A new campaign, new heroes and a 1v1 PvP mode are all included in the update.

Storming ahead

Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed had achieved five million downloads at the beginning of May 2017, just over a month after launch. This means that it has achieved another one million downloads in one month.

It was intended to be a key revenue driver of Nexon's Q1 FY17 revenues, but missed its chance by releasing too late. The company didn't suffer though – it saw record revenues thanks to PC game Dungeon&Fighter's performance in China during the quarter.
