GameAnalytics continues APAC expansion with new office in India

Mobile analytics firm GameAnalytics has expanded its operations in the Asia Pacific region with a new office in New Delhi, India.

According to GameAnalytics, India is home to around 120 million gamers who spend an average of 30 minutes per day playing games on mobile.

Cricket, Ludo and Card games are some of the most popular genres, with ad monetisation the primary revenue source for most local developers.

Unlike in the West, the in-app purchase model isn’t as lucrative just yet among Indian players.

Moving day

The move by the Mobvista-owned company follows the addition of a Beijing workplace opened back in 2016.

"Over the past two years we’ve seen incredible adoption of our platform internationally," said GameAnalytics COO Ioana Hreninciuc.

"Just like in China, the Indian mobile games market is undergoing a period of rapid growth, yet this opportunity remains largely untapped by Western-based studios and publishers.

“This is an important milestone in our mission of helping game creators succeed in vastly different cultural landscapes, whilst also giving local developers the free tools and support they need to maximisze the lifecycle of their titles.”
