The third IMGA Southeast Asia competition opens calls for submissions

The call for entries has opened for the third International Mobile Gaming Awards (IMGA) in Southeast Asia.

The competition celebrates games, developers and publishers working on mobile and VR throughout the region.

Studios across Southeast Asia interested in submitting have until July 30th to do so.

Expert panel

An online jury will play through all submitted entries to decide on finalists, at which point a jury of regional gaming experts will select their winners.

Awarded games will then automatically be entered into the 14th IMGA Global edition in San Francisco.

“The first IMGA SEA was held in Kuala Lumpur and the second IMGA SEA in Singapore,” said IMGA founded Maarten Noyons.

“After these two successful years I am proud to announce Manila as the new city for the third IMGA SEA. The two-day IMGA judging, the Philippine Game Festival, the IMGS SEA Ceremony and ESGS, the largest esports event in Southeast Asia will synchronise to create an amazing week of discovery, networking, learning and fun."

Alto.io chairman and co-founder Gaby Dizon added: "We're happy to bring the IMGA to the Philippines this year. We've watched IMGA Southeast Asia bring together the best of Southeast Asia's game developers in the past few years, and we're thrilled to do it in Manila during the Philippine Game Festival and ESGS this October."

Interested developers and publishers can submit their entries here.
