Ex-PopCap Dublin devs evolve thanks to publishing deal with Hill Climb Racing studio Fingersoft

Finnish developer Fingersoft has branched out, publishing its first third-party title.

Like Rovio before it, the studio behind the 200-million-downloaded Hill Climb Racing  is looking to leverage its audience reach and experience in distribution to bring new experience to its players.

Match made

It's been working with Irish startup SixMinute, which was formed by five developers who set up following PopCap's decision to shut down its Dublin office in 2012.

SixMinute's debut game for iOS and Google Play is Pick A Pet,  a cute animal matcher with a lite Pokemon  creature evolution twist.

SixMinute staff show their love for Hill Climb Racing

"During the past year we have received dozens of games for review from numerous game studios from all over the world. Pick A Pet  immediately drew our attention," said Jaakko Kylmäoja, Fingersoft's VP of Publishing.
