Italian mobile developer BadSeed has announced a €250,000 ($330,000) seed investment.
The money came from Italian investor United Ventures and is part of a long-term relationship between the two companies that is expected to result in further investment.
Part of the GameFounders incubator in Estonia, BadSeed's first game Sheep Up! was published by US outfit Pocket Gems.
BadSeed says the investment will be used for the launch of its next game Sleep Attack, as well as a third in-development title.
"We were very impressed by the creative talent of the BadSeed team and their ability to make the difference in terms of unique design concepts, original game experiences and stunning graphics," said Sergio Zocchi, managing partner at United Ventures.
"We're excited to assist the team's journey and are looking forward to helping them move the gaming industry forward."
