Event Type: Tradeshow
Edinburgh Interactive is pleased to announce its first round of speakers for this year's 10th anniversary event; being held once again at The Radisson Blu Hotel on the Royal Mile.

With more than 500,000 games and applications on Android, iPhone and other devices, players and developers both need a way to find each other.

Kyoko Matsushita, GREE's European Business Development and Developer Relations Lead will join Flurry's European Managing Director, Richard Firminger; CloudMade's VP of Community, Christian Petersen and Tapjoy's European MD, Paul Bowen, to speak at Edinburgh Interactive this year on 'Getting Above the Noise'.

They'll discuss how their global networks and tools for games entice and entertain, as well as make money through advertising, promotion and virtual currency. Matt Rothman, Managing Partner at Hemisphere Capital will chair the session.

Ian Livingstone will lead a Skills & Education panel and will also be talking about the publication of his new Fighting Fantasy book Blood of the Zombies - 30 years after the publication of The Warlock of Firetop Mountain in August 1982.

Edinburgh Interactive will also run a dedicated FREE public day on Saturday 11th August, also held at the Radisson Blu Hotel.

Playniac's Rob Davis and BAFTA are confirmed. BAFTA will run their legendary Young Game Designers workshop for 11-16 year olds and Rob Davis will be running his live "game about game design" Cat On Yer Head. Ian Livingstone will also run a public session on his new book, as well as a signing.
