SXSW Gaming takes place from Friday, March 13 through Sunday, March 15, 2015.

WHERE

SXSW Gaming will take place within the Palmer Events Center (900 Barton Springs Rd), Long Center (701 W Riverside Dr) in downtown Austin, TX and the Hyatt Regency (208 Barton Springs).

Programming at SXSW Gaming

SXSW Gaming sessions include panels, solo talks and dual presentations focusing on the industry-related issues in the universes of gaming and gaming culture. This free and open to the public content runs the gamut of gaming topics during the three-day Gaming portion of the SXSW Interactive festival.

SXSW Gaming Awards

In 2014, we added the SXSW Gaming Awards to honor the year's best major studio games, as well as recognize the most innovative titles from the indie side of the fence. For 2015, we’re adding more categories to recognize things we feel the need to call out such as Table Top Game of the Year, Most Valuable Professional Gamer of the Year, Online Channel of the Year and more.
