Summertime is almost upon us, which means that we’re all due a trip to the beach. And in particular, we’ll be heading down to Brighton beach in July for a special Big Indie Mixer just in time for Develop Conference.

Taking place on the 14th July at Coalition Bar (across the road from the Hilton Metropole Hotel), we’ll be mashing up a Big Indie Pitch and Mobile Mixer for your enjoyment with our lovely friends at Amazon Appstore!

How it’ll work couldn’t be simpler. We’re inviting indie developers of all shapes and sizes along to pitch their games to our teams of tame journalists.

Twenty teams will run the gauntlet, giving their all in quick fire five minute pitches to demonstrate that their title is worth of the Big Indie Pitch crown and coverage in the mobile games media.

And once our developers have finished pouring their hearts out to the judges, we’ll be running a special ask the experts indie panel while our journalists head butt each other to decide who wins.

Offering you the opportunity to ask the questions you need answered about indie game development, our panel of experts will be on hand to provide their words of wisdom over the din of Pocket Gamer writers cracking their skulls.

And if that’s not to your taste, did we mention the free drinks? We didn’t? Well there are lots of free drinks and load hotdogs for you to enjoy! . So that’s a plus, eh?

So if you fancy the chance of winning the Big Indie Pitch or coming along for the panel/copious amounts of booze, getting signed up couldn’t be easier.

If you want to submit a game for judging, head over HERE to get your game signed up (and register for a pitching ticket below) And if you want to come and attend the mixer without entering a game developer completion, simply sign up below and bring along a business card on the day to get access to your drink vouchers.

So why not pack your bucket and spade and come join us at the Big Indie Mixer in Brighton – we’d love to see you there.
