To find out more about the Global VR Challenge and to get to grips with the best of British VR community, Steel Media is holding a VR drinks and pop up VR showcase on Wed 22nd June to bring together developers, media, and more from 7pm - late.

In case you hadn't heard about it yet, the Global VR Challenge is a brand new competition set up in association with our friends at leading Chinese developer Deepoon to celebrate and reward the best of British and European VR game makers.

We've got a $35,000 grand prize for the winners, an expenses paid trip to China's biggest game show ChinaJoy in Shanghai for the shortlisted teams, and also a chunk of DeePoon VR hardware up for grabs for everyone entering an unpublished game.

Even if your game has been published or you're not interested in the challenge this time around, you're more than welcome to come along and grab a beer with us, show us (and other leading VR media) your game, and network with some of the smartest folk in the emerging VR scene.

We'll also have a chunk of space available to showcase some of the latest VR games in development (on multiple formats), so if you're interested in displaying your game let us know by signing up for a showcase ticket below.

The event is free to attend and we welcome anyone working in the games and interactive entertainment industry.
See you there!
