Shadowgun Legends took two days to be Switch ready, Tencent to acquire Bluehole, and Lineage M breaks $1.2bn

Last week saw Unite Berlin 2018 take place in the Station Berlin and it was ever so kind enough to provide us with our most read article of the week.

According to Madfinger CEO Marek Rabas, free-to-play shooter Shadowgun Legends is coming to Nintendo Switch, and it took just two days to port.

Coming in second was a report that Chinese internet behemoth Tencent is closing in on an agreement to acquire 10 per cent of Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds developer Bluehole.

Lineage M, Unity and Eve

Next up was another report. This one revealed that NCSoft’s MMO Lineage M has rounded off a solid opening year with more than $1.2 billion generated in revenue.

Heading back to Unite Berlin, our fourth entry was the news that Unity is moving its entire infrastructure to Google Cloud as part of a new partnership. Rounding us off for the week was Eve: War of Ascension soft-launching in the Philippines.
