All eyes have been on Supercell over the last month since the launch of its latest title Brawl Stars, only its fifth-ever global release.

Could it have another hit on its hands? In our most-read story last week, our regular weekly global charts offered early signs pointing to success as it topped the download rankings on the US app stores and entered the top 10 grossing for the week of December 17th.

Our second most-read story last week was the big news that China is once again approving game licences for new releases, opening the market back up for business after a nine-month-long freeze.
