Pocket Gamer: We're showcasing the Best of British at Pocket Gamer Connects so how much of an impact have British game developers had in your gaming life?

Tomas Nawar: There are two titles with big impact on my gaming life.

Wipeout (Psygnosis, 1995) - I've been a DJ for more than 15 years and this soundtrack is best music selection in games industry ever. I still love it so much!

Manhunt (Rockstar North, 2003) - a game that reaches an incredible level of brutality. Very interesting!

Why is user acquisition such a challenge in the mobile business today?

You need to know what your players love and give it to them with best possible quality
Tomas Nawar

There are tons of games on mobile platforms, so it's not easy to get enough visibility.

To overcome this means you have to provide the highest quality production with an original concept that has a focus on fun.

How can indie developers adapt to survive in the mobile economy?

First you need to know what your players love and give it to them with best possible quality, easy access, for reasonable cost and make relevant updates and create a community.

Will new technology like wearable tech and VR change the mobile landscape?

I guess, no. Playing on mobile device on the bus is a completely different situation to playing on your PC in your living room.

It´s really hard to imagine people playing in the streets wearing devices like Oculus Rift.

What are you most looking forward to at Pocket Gamer Connects?

Meetings with interesting, creative people!

What's your prediction for the mobile gaming industry in 2015?

I guess it will be awesome year for Madfinger Games!
