Former EA exec Shawn Conly is making the jump over to GREE, where he will take on the role of VP of marketing from its San Francisco offices.
Following the move, Conly can expect his days to be filled by the overseeing of marketing strategy, advertising, UA, PR , and community for all GREE’s games, including Modern War, Crime City, and War of Nations.
Conly’s career spans fifteen years, and most recently saw him take the helm at EA as VP of global advertising and branding.
Before that, he was director of advertising, web development and interactive marketing at Intel, where he worked with the consumer internet marketing team.
“GREE has seen tremendous success worldwide and I’m excited to work with a company that has such potential and recognition,” Conly enthused.
“I’m focused on combining a brand orientation with an analytics orientation to help elevate mobile gaming in a way that hasn’t been done before and ensure we can deliver the content players are hungry for.
“Using an integrated brand approach to global campaigns, the Marketing team will incorporate multiple media types into creative campaigns driving GREE’s reach of players worldwide and further building the company’s title and corporate brands in Western markets.”
