Helsinki developer Next Games looking to hire a Senior Game Designer

The Helsinki-based mobile developer Next Games is currently looking to recruit a new Senior Game Designer.

In 2015, the firm launched its first two games in the form of Compass Point: West - the first in what's set to be a four-part series - and the AMC TV show tie-in The Walking Dead: No Man's Land.

New year, new recruit

Now, Next Games is looking to bolster its game design team with an experienced individual who has the ability to iterate upon existing properties as well as developing original concepts.

"For the right candidate, this is a unique opportunity not only to work with some of the world’s most well-known IPs such as The Walking Dead, but also to design and help build original games and concepts," reads the job listing.

Based out of Next Games' Helsinki headquarters, this senior role comes with the prerequisite of free-to-play game design experience and a proven track record.

Indeed, experience in the F2P space is particularly crucial given that, along with gameplay, the successful candidate will also be tasked with implementing the game's economy as part of the design role.
