Spymaster and Winterstate seeks experienced F2P design pro

Helsinki strategy experts PlayRaven hiring Senior Game Designer

PlayRaven, the Helsinki-based developer behind Spymaster, Robocide, and Winterstate, is hiring a Senior Game Designer.

The studio is focused solely on the mobile strategy genre, but attempts to take a fresh approach with each game.

A chance to innovate

The firm's current project is a Spymaster follow-up, which CEO Lasse Seppänen describes as "a whole new spy experience."

In this tradition, the successful applicant will be given the opportunity to "create a whole new game to add to our portfolio of unique mobile experiences."

A minimum of four years' game design experience is required for the role, including at least one shipped free-to-play game.

An understanding of the application of metrics to game design is also listed as a must, as well as a passion for the strategy genre.

Features Editor

Matt is really bad at playing games, but hopefully a little better at writing about them. He's Features Editor for PocketGamer.biz, and has also written for lesser publications such as IGN, VICE, and Paste Magazine.
