Former Tilting Point and EEDAR man confident for Hibernum's future

Jesse Divnich leaves Tilting Point to join Hibernum as VP of Product

Jesse Divnich has joined Montreal-based developer/publisher Hibernum in the newly-created role of Vice President, Product.

Divnich departs his previous role as VP of Product Strategy and Insights at New York  publisher Tilting Point.

Prior to that, he spent six years at business intelligence outfit EEDAR, culminating in a VP of Insights and Analytics role.

He also sits on the Advisory Board of App Annie, Game Connection, and Game Refinery.

Jack of all trades

“Jesse brings unique and valuable expertise to Hibernum as we continue to expand our global footprint in mobile, as well as PC, console, and emerging platforms,” said Louis René Auclair, Chief Brand Officer of Hibernum.

“Many publishers, developers, and investors have relied on Jesse to refine their product strategy and launch planning practices; we welcome Jesse to the team as Hibernum now competes on more platforms and in more markets than ever before.”

Hibernum has worked across a number of platforms and brands, from Kinect and Fruit Ninja to Android and Bruce Lee, and is evidently not interested in limiting itself.

Multiplatform ambition

For Divnich, this is something to be excited about.

“The game development community in Canada has exploded since I left nearly twenty years ago," he said.

"I am honoured to return as a part of the Hibernum team with an arsenal of experience from the best in the industry, from Shanghai to Helsinki and everywhere in-between.

“Hibernum has established itself as a developer-of-choice among the biggest names in video game publishing and is perfectly positioned to compete and win as a creator of game experiences across every game platform.”

Features Editor

Matt is really bad at playing games, but hopefully a little better at writing about them. He's Features Editor for PocketGamer.biz, and has also written for lesser publications such as IGN, VICE, and Paste Magazine.
