UK games publisher PlayStack recruits new COO and Director

PlayStack has appointed Mads Jensen as its new Chief Operating Officer and Director.

At PlayStack he will be spearheading PlayStack's technology plans, including the creation of AI, cloud and mobile tech. Jensen will also oversee the development pipeline and process.

He has previously worked at IBM as a Business Executive before opening his own company Sefaira, which developed software for sustainable building design. Most recently he has acted as an investor at Capax Ventures supporting start-ups.

Ambitious plans

“I am joining forces with the PlayStack team because I believe this business has all the ingredients to be a game changer for the industry,” said Jensen.

“A team with an outstanding CEO, incredible talent, superb track record and a far-reaching vision in an exciting and rapidly growing market – PlayStack has the potential to the next London unicorn. This is a very exciting opportunity, and I am delighted to be joining the PlayStack leadership team to help realise the full potential of the business.”

PlayStack CEO Harvey Elliott added: “Given the large amount of incredibly talented games developers looking for investment and publishing support, we need to scale up our business to meet the opportunities in the market. Mads joining will only strengthen our capacity and resolve to go bigger and further, faster”.
