Building better worlds

“At N3twork we believe that games are so much more than the activity of play itself - the information, insights, stories, personalities and communities that surround the games that we and others make are as rich as they are numerous,” read a statement from N3twork.

“As we pursue our mission of creating a truly next generation game company - enabling, recognising, celebrating and serving this dimension of the experience seems as vital to us as making the games themselves. To that end, we’ve been hard at work creating the frameworks inside and out of our games to help with this.

“John’s mandate is to accelerate our efforts in this regard and to bring his incredible experience and grasp of what captivates gamers beyond the act of play to lead and grow our N3twork.”

The news comes just a month after N3twork announced it had acquired user acquisition tool Agamemnon and recruited its creator Eric Seufert to lead work on building a new platform for developers.

Though starting out in game development, N3twork has been building a set of tools, pipelines, technology and best practices to support mobile game releases, which it now aims to offer to other studios.
