Job Description

Role Overview

We are hiring a Game Developer to build 2D or 3D games across modern engines including Unreal, Unity, Godot, Panda3D, Cocos2d-x, libGDX, and MonoGame. In this role, you will work on gameplay systems, rendering, tooling, or engine-level code. The ideal candidate has shipped at least one game and cares about polish and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build 2D or 3D games for mobile, desktop, console, or web.
  • Write gameplay logic, rendering code, or engine tooling.
  • Optimize frame rate, memory usage, and load times across target platforms.
  • Collaborate with artists, designers, and producers.
  • Iterate based on playtest feedback and telemetry.
  • Contribute to technical design discussions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of game development experience.
  • At least one shipped game or substantial feature.
  • Proficiency in at least one engine: Unreal, Unity, Godot, Panda3D, Cocos2d-x, libGDX, or MonoGame.
  • Strong programming in C++, C#, Python, or Java depending on engine.
  • Understanding of game loops, rendering, physics, and optimization.Portfolio or reel (required).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Shader programming (HLSL, GLSL).
  • Multiplayer and networking (netcode, rollback, client-server sync).
  • AI for games (behavior trees, GOAP, ML-driven NPCs).
  • Mobile, VR, or AR platform optimization.
  • Experience with level design or procedural generation.
