Role Overview
We are hiring a Game Developer to build 2D or 3D games across modern engines including Unreal, Unity, Godot, Panda3D, Cocos2d-x, libGDX, and MonoGame. In this role, you will work on gameplay systems, rendering, tooling, or engine-level code. The ideal candidate has shipped at least one game and cares about polish and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Build 2D or 3D games for mobile, desktop, console, or web.
- Write gameplay logic, rendering code, or engine tooling.
- Optimize frame rate, memory usage, and load times across target platforms.
- Collaborate with artists, designers, and producers.
- Iterate based on playtest feedback and telemetry.
- Contribute to technical design discussions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of game development experience.
- At least one shipped game or substantial feature.
- Proficiency in at least one engine: Unreal, Unity, Godot, Panda3D, Cocos2d-x, libGDX, or MonoGame.
- Strong programming in C++, C#, Python, or Java depending on engine.
- Understanding of game loops, rendering, physics, and optimization.Portfolio or reel (required).
Preferred Qualifications
- Shader programming (HLSL, GLSL).
- Multiplayer and networking (netcode, rollback, client-server sync).
- AI for games (behavior trees, GOAP, ML-driven NPCs).
- Mobile, VR, or AR platform optimization.
- Experience with level design or procedural generation.
