Com2uS CEO named entrepreneur of the year
The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards began back in 1986 to bring attention to leadership, vision, financial performance, perspective, and influence on industry growth by business people across the globe.

This year, the winner of the Entrepreneur category has gone to Korean CEO of mobile game developer and publisher Com2uS, Jiyoung Park. The 34-year-old executive gained the award for her contributions to elevating mobile games as a key generator of growth in the digital content industry via qualified mobile game brands and innovative business models.

“Our company's innovations and experiences with micro-billing payment systems and massively multiplayer role-playing in mobile games have been gaining attention throughout the industry,” said Park. “Being honoured with this award reflects the rising status of the mobile digital content business, bringing it in line with other key sectors such as food, pharmaceuticals, trading, and heavy industries.”

Com2uS was Korea’s first mobile games company established in 1998, and now supplies the industry in over 40 countries in Asia, Europe and the US.
