’Increasing ROI through Future Content Distribution Models’

Free MEF Smart Pipe Enablers Webinar for mobile game companies set for October 23rd
Due on Friday October 23rd at 3pm UK time (10am New York, 7am Los Angeles, 10pm Hong Kong), the second webinar in the Mobile Entertainment Forum’s ‘Enablers’ series focuses on companies looking to drive revenue through the mobile platform.

“The potential for using mobile networks to deliver engaging, personalised content has been demonstrated over the last 12 months with the appetite for applications, from both within the mobile industry and from the end consumer,” states MEF’s press release.

“Key to grasping this potential is the delivery of a compelling user experience and ‘Smart Pipe Enablers’ or ‘Network APIs’ are the tools necessary to create this engagement and the next generation user experience for mobile content.”

Confirmed speakers for the event include Mark Kortekaas (controller for BBC Audio & Music Interactive & Mobile), Ty Roberts (founder and CTO, Gracenote), Glyn Povah, (head of content marketing, Telefonica O2), Ray De Silva (principle product manager, Enabler Commercial Partnerships, Vodafone Group), David Pearce (head of mobile services, Yell) and Robert Juncker (CTO, Xora).

Anyone interested in the webinar is asked to sign-up.

With three boys under the age of 12, former Edge editor Joao has given up his dream of making it to F1 and instead spends his weekends transforming his living room floor into a venue for hosting increasingly complex Scalextric tracks. When in work mode, he looks after the production (aka the behind-the-scenes magic) of Steel Media's series of conferences.
