EA Mobile veep Luca Pagano elected to MEF global board
Perhaps not one of the sexier jobs, nevertheless the behind-the-scenes work of organisations such as the Mobile Entertainment Forum (MEF) helps keep the mobile industry rolling forward.

It's good news then that Luca Pagano, vice president publishing EA Mobile, EMEA has been elected to the MEF's global board of directors.

"Mobile gaming has been a major driver of consumer engagement with mobile content in recent years, driving the evolution of new business models, pushing the boundaries of technology and innovating around go-to-market strategies," said Pagano.

"I'm honoured to have been elected and to have the opportunity to bring insight and perspectives from the gaming industry to the MEF. I look forward to working with the other members to drive the mobile entertainment sector forward."

All together

Pagano will focus on helping the MEF board build a favourable business environment for mobile developers and content companies, a key foundation for delivering more innovative and exciting offerings to mobile consumers.

Newly re-elected MEF Chair, Andrew Bud said, "I look forward to working with this exceptionally strong board to support our $36 billion industry as it matures.

"In this time of rapid change and opportunity, our mission to improve, inform and protect the market for MEF members, both globally and nationally, is more vital than ever."
