Cuckoo app booted out of Android Market nest leaving the way clear for Angry Birds' commercial release
Shortly after my Angry Birds spitting feathers (nee features) over Android debut due to app squatting story it seems that either Google, or developer Rovio has come to an agreement with the original Android Angry Bird app squatter CrazyAndroidApps.

Its app - ""a great app for pulling practical jokes on your friends" - has now been renamed as Angry Birds Joke, leaving the way free for a paid release of the iPhone game under its original Angry Birds moniker.

True colours

The initial free release of the iPhone top seller is still called Angry Birds Lite Beta however as Rovio ensures it works on all supported Android handsets. Some bugs have been reported, notably with the Evo 4G.

Additionally, the Android Market doesn't seem to be updating itself very well as some people - including me and my HTC Wildfire - can't find the game on-device.

Still, we're sure everything will have been worked out when the game finally goes live commercially.
